Brett
Brett has a special story….He was born with a few problems, which immediately endeared him to us! His rib cage was not formed normally so his heart was not in the correct position. Our vet did not give us much hope for his survival, but we had fallen in love!!! There was nothing to do medically, so we just loved him and cared for him. He did not walk until he was 6 weeks old, but since then he hasn’t slowed down!! He turned 8 in January and it seems he has either outgrown his disabilities or he has been healed! He runs and plays with all the abandon of a normal dog. Needless to say he is quite spoiled and doesn’t think he belongs with the rest of the “dog” crowd!! He has claimed Joanna as his “girl” and loves her wholeheartedly! She has taught him tricks and he only wants to be where she is. We are so glad we didn’t give up on that little “special boy” who looked funny and wasn’t “normal”!
